As an effect of the severe weather conditions in the Alps and following the rockslide, the closure of the line at St-Jean-de-Maurienne-Arvan – Bât Voyageurs, France, in the border region between France and Italy, started on 27/8/2023. The re-opening of the line is not yet defined due to some still existing unfavorable circumstances.
The re-routings are being set by the involved IMs, the impacted RUs, and stakeholders.
